New Member Of The Strawhats

May 15, 2011, in Pinto far from those days and seagulls everywhere

Almost a month Juan not visited landfills in difficult weather conditions and last Saturday decided to give an early-morning round.

Gaviotero entered the sanctuary at 7:15 am, finally! with clear skies and passable roads. Almost summery atmosphere at that time with many cattle egrets, white storks and 25-30 a few gulls (about 60-80 dark, about 200 black-headed gull, 3 Yellow-legged first-summer and 1 for third).

With this scenario, shortly after 9:30 pm Pinto left with the feeling of having gone over countless times all legs present.

Half an hour later, and without knowledge of the past presence of Juan , Miguel came to the same place. Was between 10:00 h. until 11:00 pm.

Each read was an interpretation of a gull ring, but both readings of different individuals. And both are already familiar with this season, from French and German.

even counted a Miguel 80 White Storks, with 3 white rings:

BPHI, BLCC and FW4A.

addition, an interesting observation of a stilt in a puddle of the landfill. Species new to this place.
