H ace recently read "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" by Milan Kundera as a first-person reflection shook myopia that he was reading:
"The characters in my novels are my own possibilities were not realized. This idea is one that seems to have followed Alexander Colliard with his book" Hold Barreda! ". In this novel the main actors are media personalities with a dark and even sinister history, with which the author plays a satirical fiction to the absurd, but they can also be prescient.
The main character, Ricardo Barreda, is a dentist-turned-filicidal Sunday November 15, 1992 in the city of La Plata, Argentina, killing in the same sequence to his wife, mother and daughters. Sentenced to life imprisonment
time later and, through dubious legal loopholes and regret, is released sixteen years later. It is here where the author begins his gritty fiction.
The main cast is completed by Ricardo Ruckauf, a political decadence that came to the Vice President of the country in question and that the novel seeks to regain lost leadership with the help of Barreda.
